Scrap Whispers

I love taking part in the Scrap Whispers challenge, we are divided into teams then a layout is scrap lifted. It is then photographed and passed back to the team leader who passes it to the next person in the team. Each month its amazing to see the page as it changes from person to person, but also between the teams.
I had forgotten to post my last page after the big reveal and it was only when  the next page dropped into my in box that I remembered. This was my page
 a bit different for me, to use patterned paper as the back ground but I thought it worked for this layout.Go here yo see the start to finish.

End of Summer Blog Hop

Hello to all you UK Scrappers blog hoppers, hopefully you have arrived from Ifa's blog, I have been a fan of Ifa's clean scrapbooking style, how lovely is that layout.  Well the project I made is another take on what you can do with the vines I featured on the last blog hop. Often you see these things and think 'well they are lovely but what will I do with it'. Scrapbooking supplies are not just for scrapbooking.  I bought a bargain frame from a 'cheap' shop and wanted to add a bit of va va voom to it.I thought it was wood so was going to paint and crackle it,, turning it shabby and planned to give it a vintagey theme. Well that went out the window when I realised it was plastic.   Plan B then, I painted it with Gesso to give it a bit of 'tooth' so that whatever I did would grip. Christmas Project

UKScrappers are hosting a project a day for Christmas.  Rememeber you have to do the following to be in with a chance of winning a prize: Visit the UKS Home Page every morning to see that days project click the link to get the tutorial. Comment on each of the blogs ). Remember to leave your UKS username. If the project is not on a blog you are allowed a free pass on that one.
