Lucky Me

I am such a lucky girl, back in September I topped up my mobile phone and got my O2 surprises code. I kind of forgot about it for a a week then thought I'd just see what I'd won. Usually it's free picture messaging or free calls to another O2 customer, not anything I use. This time I won a laptop,, wow wow, wait a minute a laptop? This sort of thing doesn't happen to me, so I waited and sure enough two days later it arrived. Imagine that! My excitement was very short lived, it was scratched on the top and actually a reconditioned model. I know I didn't pay money for it but if I had surely they have to say its reconditioned. I contacted O2 who actually use another company for the distribution of the prizes, it took two months for them to sort it out. Finally last week this arrived. I've spent loads of time transferring all my files from my other laptop, which will shortly be put up for sale. On the crafting front a couple of weeks ago pencil lines had they 4th ...

Pencil Lines Sketch 76

Is it really only wednesday? This has been a hell of a week so far, I'm hoping it calms down today. I was hoping to catch up with some of the birthday celebrations on Pencil Lines , but it doesn't look like its going to happen. I have managed another page this one is using sketch 76 . This was the sketch and here is my interpretation of it  Love that DCWV paper pack.

Pencil Lines Sketch 204

The birthday celebrations on Pencil lines has inspired me to pick up my glue and scissors again. Each hour a favourite sketch was shown by the DT. I just need the photos to add and I can show them here. Sketch 204 looked like this and here is my page

Pencil Lines Sketch 208

Pencil lines , are having a birthday party celebration, they are four years old and to celebrate the Design Team are resurrecting some of their favourite sketches. I don't know how they are doing it, I think all of the sketches are fabulous. This week's sketch has to be one of my favorites, here is the sketch  and here is my page I love these papers, they are from Pink Paislee, its the Bayberry Cottage range. It's just gorgeous!

Congratulations Card

Earlier this week I posted that I had also made two Congratulations cards, hopefully now everybody has received theirs. One was for an engagement, the other was for Sue at Craftwork Cards . Sue has won the  Manufacturing Business Woman of the Year for Yorkshire and Humberside award.  How fabulous is that and very well deserved. Here is the card I sent. Pencil Lines have a fun filled day planned tomorrow, it's their 4th birthday, the festivities begin at 8AM. Every hour on the hour a new sketch from the archives is to be resurrected. Get your photos ready and let the fun begin.

I'm a winner!

Me a winner I can't believe it! Last weekend was Pencil Lines 3rd birthday so I threw myself into helping them celebrate. I didn't manage to complete all of the challenges but I promise I had a really good go at trying. What have I won, well I'm not too sure but I'll post pictures when the prizes arrive. The first one I entered was Blog hop and I was picked out by Jessica Jo , I also entered her sketch challenge t his was the page I entered. The second challenge was a mini book challenge set by the UK founder of Pencil Lines herself Anna Bowkiss . I had the pleasure of attending a couple of Anna's workshops last year at the Scrapping Angels retreat . Anna is also the lady who took the photo I use on my blog profile, so now I am very pleased to have been chosen as a winner for the mini book. I haven't finished it yet but it will get finished and will be posted in all it's final glory. I'm filling it with favourite things or things I love. I had it in mi...

7PM Challenge

Here is my entry for the 7PM birthday challenge , this one was set by Ingvild Bolme. I 'm really pleased with everything I've done this weekend, even if it means I've not done any ironing. I will have to get that done tommorrow morning, but it's been well worth it.

4PM Challenge

I was just going to begin the 4PM challenge and this sketch reminded me of this page that I'd already done and posted previously, so here it is.This page challenge was set by Michele Beck .

3PM Challenge

Continuing with the Pencil Lines Birthday challenge, this mini book was set by Anna Bowkiss . My book is not so mini its 8X8. I've had this book for a little while, bought from Craftwork Cards for an amazing recession busting £1.75. I decided to make a book of my favourites, I've done 4 pages so far and they aren't completely finished but I want to post it. You get the idea, I usually crop my pictures down so get rid of 'fuss' in the background, but I've left it in the first picture. Yes that mess in the background is my craft room, I have serious cleaning up to do.

2PM Challenge

Here's my en try for the 2PM challenge another layout challenge, my goodness this weekend is forcing me to put my thinking cap on. This layout challenge was from Sandie Vincent .

1PM Challenge

Here's my entry for the 1PM Pencil Lines birthday challenge. You should see my craft room, I'm loading these posts and then I'll have to tidy up before I go at it again. I am working my way down my stack of phots really quickly, this is a good thing some of them have been kicking around for a while. This was a layout challenge from Jessica Salber .

Pencil Lines Birthday Challenge

That was a good trip to Asda , I collected the photos and filled my tummy with a breakfast that will see me through the next few hours. This page is for yesterdays 5PM challenge from Gudrun Loennecken . I loved this sketch and it's one I'll probably use over and again it's a good way of getting a few photos onto a layout without it being busy.

Pencil Lines Birthday Celebrations Continued

The birthday party over on Pencil Lines continues from lunch time today, I've just had a huge clean up after yesterday and I'm ready to start again. I have a couple of half done pages, they just need photos. I'll be posting them on my return from Asda to collect the piccies . This one is from 1pm yesterday when Christiane Muller challenged us to use sketch 73. Right time to stock up on snacks and drinks ready to begin again.

Card Sketch Challenge

The 4pm birthday challenge on Pencil Lines was a card sketch, lucky for me I had already got some images coloured in, they just needed popping onto a card so that's just what I did.
