For the boys

I enjoy creating cards for boys but it is often difficult to find good stamps that would suit a teenage boy, that was until last weekend when I visited my favourite shop The Craft Box, they had these gorgeous Woodware stamps and of course I just snapped them up. Perfect for my four nephews. I enjoyed an afternoon of colouring in front of the television on Sunday, something I am planning to do again this weekend. I'm entering these card into the Winter Wonderland challenge this week which aptly enough is boys will be boys.

Time for a card

Oh Dear my blog is really getting neglected these days. I have a couple of things that are completed but I can't post them yet, so this morning found me bright and early looking through my photos and I found this card that I hadn't posted. It seems just right for the moment, what with team GB doing us proud with the medals. I loved the Penny Black images to celebrate London this year and had to buy this one and one with a London bus. They have been perfect for the men's cards this year.  So following on from my weekend of scrapbooking last week, today I am meeting my friend Lesley for an afternoon of colouring. Lili of the Valley have an advanced colouring class, taught by the lovely Bev Rochester . and we are going to learn big girl colouring. No doubt some of their lovely stamps will end up falling into my bag. Funny how that happens whenever I go there!

Another Leaver

I had another leaving card to make this week. I had this Tim Holtz die sitting on my desk since it fell in my basket last week at the Craft Box . So I needed no other excuse I could use it on a mans card. I  laughed at myself when I made the leaves, I guess I was hooked after the project we made last Sunday. This is currently going round the office  So now to think of something to do with the other goodies that fell in the basket.
