Last week I had a little trip to the Lili of the Valley shop, it is so full of fabulous inspiration you can't fail to get enthusiastic about getting crafty. On the counter was a beautiful wedding candle, stamped with one of their lovely images and decorated so delicately. For a week I have been thinking of this candle and wanting to make one myself. While I was there I treated myself to three of the newly launched stamps, believe me it was very difficult sticking to only three. I'm sure more will end up at my house soon though.
As I went back to work this week I have not had much time for crafting but I managed to gather all the supplies I needed for a candle and today I finally got the chance to have a go.
I love it and it was much easier than I thought it was going to be. The hardest part was colouring on tissue paper, but only because you don't have to put much ink on. I can imagine making many more of these for Christmas presents.
If you fancy having a go here are the instructions that I followed.
