A Wedding Card With a Difference

I recently looked at all the cards posted on Lili of the Valleys blog hop and was particularly inspired by this beautiful card. I loved the idea of the frame on the card. So I had to have a go myself, I have three weddings in the next 4 months and this will come in really handy. I also used some of the clay embellishments that I have been making, see the little scrolls on the top corner.
 
 
The cute little stamp is also from Lili of the valley, tomorrow I'm visiting their store to view the new release of Christmas images. I have the feeling I'm going to be very skint. I'm also entering this card into their monthly challenge, its the first time I've entered, but the theme this month is Pretty in Pink and this fits the challenge perfectly.

End of Summer Blog Hop

Hello to all you UK Scrappers blog hoppers, hopefully you have arrived from Ifa's blog, I have been a fan of Ifa's clean scrapbooking style, how lovely is that layout.  Well the project I made is another take on what you can do with the vines I featured on the last blog hop. Often you see these things and think 'well they are lovely but what will I do with it'. Scrapbooking supplies are not just for scrapbooking.  I bought a bargain frame from a 'cheap' shop and wanted to add a bit of va va voom to it.I thought it was wood so was going to paint and crackle it,, turning it shabby and planned to give it a vintagey theme. Well that went out the window when I realised it was plastic.   Plan B then, I painted it with Gesso to give it a bit of 'tooth' so that whatever I did would grip. Christmas Project

UKScrappers are hosting a project a day for Christmas.  Rememeber you have to do the following to be in with a chance of winning a prize: Visit the UKS Home Page every morning to see that days project click the link to get the tutorial.
