Beam me up Scotty

I used to love Star Trek as a child but its really not my thing anymore. I was in Washington DC in 1992 and there was a Star Trek exhibition at the Air and Space museum. I went under duress but it was such a great exhibition that I thoroughly enjoyed it. 
Over on UK Scrappers there is another year long challenge hosted by Shimelle, on the 10th of every month a list of products is released. Then on the 20th step by step instructions for a layout are posted. The idea is to you your stash up, that's exactly what I did and substituted everything on this list with stash, I did follow the instructions closely though. The thing that took me so long was getting the photos printed at the right size, so I missed the deadline of the 30th but I still posted it.

End of Summer Blog Hop

Hello to all you UK Scrappers blog hoppers, hopefully you have arrived from Ifa's blog, I have been a fan of Ifa's clean scrapbooking style, how lovely is that layout.  Well the project I made is another take on what you can do with the vines I featured on the last blog hop. Often you see these things and think 'well they are lovely but what will I do with it'. Scrapbooking supplies are not just for scrapbooking.  I bought a bargain frame from a 'cheap' shop and wanted to add a bit of va va voom to it.I thought it was wood so was going to paint and crackle it,, turning it shabby and planned to give it a vintagey theme. Well that went out the window when I realised it was plastic.   Plan B then, I painted it with Gesso to give it a bit of 'tooth' so that whatever I did would grip. Christmas Project

UKScrappers are hosting a project a day for Christmas.  Rememeber you have to do the following to be in with a chance of winning a prize: Visit the UKS Home Page every morning to see that days project click the link to get the tutorial.
