A Familiar Face

I recently posted some projects I had made using the Craftwork Cards project of the month Warren. I then wrapped them all up and sent them on because they look sooo much better in real life. If you go over to the blog, you may see a familiar face, well name at least. Also you should check out the Inspiration section for some great ideas.
I have just taken delivery of this months project pack, Tres Chic, I'm going to have to make something with it quickly. I'm afraid its so delicious my drool may spoil it. It is gorgeous!
I also found the Shabby Blogs website, OMG they have the most gorgeous templates and gadgets to dress up your blog. Well I started fiddling and now I'm hooked, you may have noticed my new image. What I can't believe is, this is all free, yes you read that correctly FREE! How the heck? If you like Websters pages you are gonna love some of the FREE backgrounds. It's real easy to make the changes and there are some great tutorials for those of us that are a little bit scared of making the change.

End of Summer Blog Hop

Hello to all you UK Scrappers blog hoppers, hopefully you have arrived from Ifa's blog, I have been a fan of Ifa's clean scrapbooking style, how lovely is that layout.  Well the project I made is another take on what you can do with the vines I featured on the last blog hop. Often you see these things and think 'well they are lovely but what will I do with it'. Scrapbooking supplies are not just for scrapbooking.  I bought a bargain frame from a 'cheap' shop and wanted to add a bit of va va voom to it.I thought it was wood so was going to paint and crackle it,, turning it shabby and planned to give it a vintagey theme. Well that went out the window when I realised it was plastic.   Plan B then, I painted it with Gesso to give it a bit of 'tooth' so that whatever I did would grip. Christmas Project

UKScrappers are hosting a project a day for Christmas.  Rememeber you have to do the following to be in with a chance of winning a prize: Visit the UKS Home Page every morning to see that days project click the link to get the tutorial.
