November is Finished

I have been taking part in the Document 2010 project, run by Shimelle Laine and UK Scrappers, I promised I would only use my existing stash. With the exception of the album itself I haven't bought a single thing. I struggled with the November entries as I didn't do very much socially, I was so busy with work that I felt I was either travelling or preparing for my next trip.The first page uses Pencil lines sketch 218. I managed to pull three pages together but the last one just wasn't there. 
I confess to cheating a little a copyright free photo of fireworks and a flick through my Scrapbook Trends magazine and it all came together, I lifted the page from one by Becky Kent. Just December to finish now.

Great blog. I stumbled upon it by clicking next blog while on my blog. Your creations are really cute. I also scrapbook, make cards and have a few other things like cooking, etc. on my blog.

End of Summer Blog Hop

Hello to all you UK Scrappers blog hoppers, hopefully you have arrived from Ifa's blog, I have been a fan of Ifa's clean scrapbooking style, how lovely is that layout.  Well the project I made is another take on what you can do with the vines I featured on the last blog hop. Often you see these things and think 'well they are lovely but what will I do with it'. Scrapbooking supplies are not just for scrapbooking.  I bought a bargain frame from a 'cheap' shop and wanted to add a bit of va va voom to it.I thought it was wood so was going to paint and crackle it,, turning it shabby and planned to give it a vintagey theme. Well that went out the window when I realised it was plastic.   Plan B then, I painted it with Gesso to give it a bit of 'tooth' so that whatever I did would grip. Christmas Project

UKScrappers are hosting a project a day for Christmas.  Rememeber you have to do the following to be in with a chance of winning a prize: Visit the UKS Home Page every morning to see that days project click the link to get the tutorial.
