I had a great day yesterday, I went to Jam Jar Beads and had a go at jewellery making. I do like the lovely costume jewellery that's around. I don't really wear it because I don't think I can carry it off but love it on other people. I decided to do this class with my friend so that I could make it for other people as presents. I loved the class and really like everything I've made, we made a necklace a bracelet and I made three pairs of earrings. I've even ordered some wires and bits I just need to find somewhere for beads. Here is what I made in class.
I'm now thinking of ways to add this new skill to my scrapbooking.
Welcome to the UKS Spring BlogHop! I hope you are all enjoying some lovely spring weather. You may have come to me from JimJams blog and her stunning mini book. If you lose your way, or have dropped in on me directly and want to follow the hop, you can see the full list with all the links here . ETA Remember to comment on each blog and then go back to UKS and comment there to be in with a chance of winning a £25 voucher, I am offering a vine for commetners on this blog. It is important that you include your UKScrappers name in your comment. I have created a page with some handmade flowers, I was inspired by the beautiful Prima branches, as usual I looked at them and thought I bet I could make those. This was my first attempt and I'm pretty pleased with myself. Also on the layout you should spot a lovely voile flower, some tiny pearl flowers and a couple of blossoms made from scallop circle punches. Although the bought flowersand vines are beautiful if you need to use
