A bit of a catch up

Well it finally happened today, I fell over in the snow! I was in the car park at work, its the worst car park because its at a 25 degree angle and over night the snow that had been melting froze into black ice. The only injury I had was I split my sides laughing. I had to be scraped up by one of my colleagues, who was also laughing.
I've also won again over on the Bubbly Scrumptious Challenge blog, the challenge was all wrapped up and ready to go. I sent in one of the little gift boxes and a card. I'm very happy to have won again.
I have bought my mask for the masquerade ball at the Inspired retreat I'm going to in February. I tried to make a couple from card stock but they looked awful, so I've bought one of these from Hobbycraft
I've bought lots of 'glam' stuff to tart it up, so that is going to be my project for the Christmas break.
Oh no its snowing again! Will it ever stop?

End of Summer Blog Hop

Hello to all you UK Scrappers blog hoppers, hopefully you have arrived from Ifa's blog, I have been a fan of Ifa's clean scrapbooking style, how lovely is that layout.  Well the project I made is another take on what you can do with the vines I featured on the last blog hop. Often you see these things and think 'well they are lovely but what will I do with it'. Scrapbooking supplies are not just for scrapbooking.  I bought a bargain frame from a 'cheap' shop and wanted to add a bit of va va voom to it.I thought it was wood so was going to paint and crackle it,, turning it shabby and planned to give it a vintagey theme. Well that went out the window when I realised it was plastic.   Plan B then, I painted it with Gesso to give it a bit of 'tooth' so that whatever I did would grip. Christmas Project

UKScrappers are hosting a project a day for Christmas.  Rememeber you have to do the following to be in with a chance of winning a prize: Visit the UKS Home Page every morning to see that days project click the link to get the tutorial.
