Another fabulous challenge set by Pencil lines this week, it's funny how you can have photos for years and then suddenly a sketch speaks to you about one photo. This picture was taken when I visited China 16 years ago. One of my lasting memories of this visit was the amount of bicycles everywhere. I know that is is the thing that everybody associates with China there was even Katie Melua's song, Nine Million bicycles in Beijing, but I didn't imagine that many. They were parked anywhere where they could be fastened to something, trees, railings anything. There was something calm about it though, not so much of the tooting and road rage that I experience on my now daily commute.
Welcome to the UKS Spring BlogHop! I hope you are all enjoying some lovely spring weather. You may have come to me from JimJams blog and her stunning mini book. If you lose your way, or have dropped in on me directly and want to follow the hop, you can see the full list with all the links here . ETA Remember to comment on each blog and then go back to UKS and comment there to be in with a chance of winning a £25 voucher, I am offering a vine for commetners on this blog. It is important that you include your UKScrappers name in your comment. I have created a page with some handmade flowers, I was inspired by the beautiful Prima branches, as usual I looked at them and thought I bet I could make those. This was my first attempt and I'm pretty pleased with myself. Also on the layout you should spot a lovely voile flower, some tiny pearl flowers and a couple of blossoms made from scallop circle punches. Although the bought flowersand vines are beautiful if you need to use
