A few cards

I've made a couple of cards, the first one was a gorgeous new boy card that I made at the Craftwork Cards workshop on Saturday, I loved it but I have this thing about having to have a new girl card handy as well so I made it a partner. I'd seen these zig zag cards on various blogs and was never too keen, but I love these, I'm thinking of my Christmas cards. The ovals from Craftwork Cards are gorgeous and make it really easy to create a great card.

Then a male birthday card, these are always hard to think up, but I make all the cards for work and as it's mostly men I have to think about it all the time. So when I get an idea I do it straight away so I don't forget. More crafting planned for the day now all the housework, washing and ironing is done.

End of Summer Blog Hop

Hello to all you UK Scrappers blog hoppers, hopefully you have arrived from Ifa's blog, I have been a fan of Ifa's clean scrapbooking style, how lovely is that layout.  Well the project I made is another take on what you can do with the vines I featured on the last blog hop. Often you see these things and think 'well they are lovely but what will I do with it'. Scrapbooking supplies are not just for scrapbooking.  I bought a bargain frame from a 'cheap' shop and wanted to add a bit of va va voom to it.I thought it was wood so was going to paint and crackle it,, turning it shabby and planned to give it a vintagey theme. Well that went out the window when I realised it was plastic.   Plan B then, I painted it with Gesso to give it a bit of 'tooth' so that whatever I did would grip. Christmas Project

UKScrappers are hosting a project a day for Christmas.  Rememeber you have to do the following to be in with a chance of winning a prize: Visit the UKS Home Page every morning to see that days project click the link to get the tutorial.
