Last night a friend I went out with my friends to celebrate one of them reaching 60, so here is the birthday card I made him. For those who are a fan of the talented Julie Hickey you will recognise this as one of her favourite formats for making cards. It really does work for everybody and is quick. I sometimes put the age on or if it is not a special age I use the cuttlebug to emboss Happy Birthday and stick it in the middle. This also qualifies for this weeks Daring Card Makers Challenge.
Welcome to the UKS Spring BlogHop! I hope you are all enjoying some lovely spring weather. You may have come to me from JimJams blog and her stunning mini book. If you lose your way, or have dropped in on me directly and want to follow the hop, you can see the full list with all the links here . ETA Remember to comment on each blog and then go back to UKS and comment there to be in with a chance of winning a £25 voucher, I am offering a vine for commetners on this blog. It is important that you include your UKScrappers name in your comment. I have created a page with some handmade flowers, I was inspired by the beautiful Prima branches, as usual I looked at them and thought I bet I could make those. This was my first attempt and I'm pretty pleased with myself. Also on the layout you should spot a lovely voile flower, some tiny pearl flowers and a couple of blossoms made from scallop circle punches. Although the bought flowersand vines are beautiful if you need to use
