I love making flowers, or manipulating punched flowers to something rather than a flat nothing. I found these flowers on the Fancy Pants blog here, they were made with hand cut ovals to look like a poinsettia. I couldn't get them all the same size so they looked very deformed and finally I resorted to punched out ovals. They still look lovely but with the pointed tips they look more like poinsettia's. This card is made using the lovely Craftwork Cards Candy Cane Christmas papers, I've said before and it's worth repeating these papers have the most luxurious shimmer to them that just cannot come over when the cards are photographed.
Welcome to the UKS Spring BlogHop! I hope you are all enjoying some lovely spring weather. You may have come to me from JimJams blog and her stunning mini book. If you lose your way, or have dropped in on me directly and want to follow the hop, you can see the full list with all the links here . ETA Remember to comment on each blog and then go back to UKS and comment there to be in with a chance of winning a £25 voucher, I am offering a vine for commetners on this blog. It is important that you include your UKScrappers name in your comment. I have created a page with some handmade flowers, I was inspired by the beautiful Prima branches, as usual I looked at them and thought I bet I could make those. This was my first attempt and I'm pretty pleased with myself. Also on the layout you should spot a lovely voile flower, some tiny pearl flowers and a couple of blossoms made from scallop circle punches. Although the bought flowersand vines are beautiful if you need to use
